NOTE: During the year of 2012-2013, Ms. Farmer was the North Atlantic Chair of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Ms. Farmer participate in duties as the L.I.F.E. program Founder and Director as well as the North Atlantic Region Chair of ACA, visiting branches and working with counselors in her region. In addition. Some of the events listed include her duties as Region Chair.

Ms. Farmer visited the Rhode Island-Massachusetts Counseling Association and attended the branch's restructuring meeting at Bridgewater University.

Ms. Farmer was invited to be a guest speaker at Trinity University's Spring Open House. Ms. Farmer represented the Counseling Department at Trinity University and presented to a group of about 20-25 potential graduate students.

As North Atlantic Region Chair, Ms. Farmer was responsible for attending Region Officers Meeting and conducting her own Region meeting with the State branches apart of her region, which include Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, District of Columbia, Connecticut, Europe, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. In addition, Ms. Farmer is a member of the Branch Development Committee and it was during this meeting that Ms. Farmer was requested to take on the leadership of becoming the next Chair of this committee. Ms. Farmer and her mother, Dr. Judy Farmer, performed an African Dance during the conference and The ACA annual conference took place this year in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ms. Farmer also was a table leader during the networking lunch, a workshop facilitator and introduced the guest speaker during the opening session of the conference. During this conference, Ms. Farmer participated in Counseling Advocacy Day on the Hill, which allows counselors to meet with their Senator and Congress Representatives on issues related to the field of counseling. Dr. Farmer was a Attendee and Moderator at the American Evangelistic Association's 62nd Annual Fall Conference. The theme for this year's conference is Help For Our Spiritual Journey. Dr. Farmer moderated the panel discussion on Israel.

From January-May 2017, Ms. Farmer will be a Presenter/Speaker for the ASCEND program, a leadership program in association with the Upsilon Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Incorporated, her Sorority. Ms. Farmer conducts Parent Sessions and Field Trip with ASCEND students and families.
